Wake Here Comes Everybody Rar4/2/2023 ![]() The sound quality on side one alone is spectacularly poor. BOTH copies still sound better than this clear vinyl one. Absolutely appalled by how dreadful this pressing's sound quality is.įor the record I also bought BOTH Captured Tracks versions as well - the first one in the original slipcase (hard cover) released in 2012 with the two LPs and also the sleeve notes in a folder, plus the gatefold (glossy sleeved) reissue in 2015 of the same. My original Factory FACT 138 vinyl version I bought back in 1985 sounds pristine compared to this utter abomination. Incredibly this pressing sounds like a bad tape cassette - with wow and flutter sounds (the treble weaving in and out - sound blurring intermittently). Well, sorry to be the party pooper here amongst all the other reviews here, but I must have picked the short straw as usual and bought a duff copy of this clear vinyl RSD version because, despite the record being mint and cleaned with no dust, it plays bloody awful. ![]()
